TaxAssist Accountants Chorley are focused on providing a personal and professional service and we work with a whole host of different types of clients. We typically help start-ups, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, landlords, contractors, freelancers and individual taxpayers.  

We are experts in several accounting packages, such as QuickBooks, Xero and Dext so we can ensure you are ready and compliant for Making Tax Digital. We often find our clients are interested in making their accounting function much smoother and want an accountant to help them along the journey. 

Alongside our core accounting, bookkeeping and tax planning services we also have a useful network of additional service partners who help businesses with business finance, employment law, financial planning and debt recovery should you need it.

We’re an experienced team of accountants in Preston who love helping small businesses and individuals succeed. We work with a range of clients, from local restaurant owners in Preston to globally travelling clients who are currently abroad in Canada and Hong Kong!  

We have 6 friendly team members, who together have over 44 years of experience, so when you contact us you know you’ll be with trusted, experienced advisors. Prakaash Manivannan Partner, ACMA qualified, FSB member

Joined TaxAssist Accountants in 2018, with over 30 years of experience in both small accountancy practices and corporate environments. Prakaash enjoys helping small businesses develop and grow to reach their full potential.

Julie Mcnally, Qualified AAT and Psychology graduate

Julie joined TaxAssist Accountants 2 years ago as an apprentice, but qualified AAT last year, Julie helps with VAT, limited companies accounts and self-assessment tax returns. Julie is also experienced with property-related Capital Gains Tax as well as property disclosures and is usually based in our Chorley Office.

Jas Kaur,  ACCA

Jas is an ACCA-qualified accountant with many years of practice experience. Jas works remotely so you may not see her in our office. Jas looks after our limited company accounts and has been part of our team for over 2 years.  

Andy Arona

Andy is a graduate with over 6 years of experience in accounts. Andy focuses on completing VAT returns, and self-assessment tax returns for Limited Companies and Individuals.

Alex Chhetri 

Alex is latest addition to the team and is an Accountancy and Finance graduate from Manchester Met. Alex is most likely to be your main point of contact with our team, as he answers our calls. Alex directs client queries to the relevant member of staff and also helps with tax returns. Alex is usually based at our Preston Office.

Ritu Sharma

Ritu manages our payroll and assists with payroll queries on a part-time basis.  Ritu has several years of experience in the industry and would be happy to answer any payroll questions you have.
