We opened TaxAssist Accountants Coventry East in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. Though it gave us a challenging start, we’re so pleased to have grown our business since and been able to help other local start-ups flourish too. We like to see ourselves as a powerful ally that can help drive your business forward! 

Meet our team 

Our business would not exist without small businesses like yours, so our friendly team is here to help you in any way that we can. Currently, we have three brilliant team members with extensive experience, all ready to help your business thrive: 

Jay Gosal – Practice Owner

Before opening TaxAssist Accountants Coventry East, Jay worked in the commercial business sector as a Senior Finance Manager. After many years working for multi-national organisations, Jay decided it was time to own her own small business and use her commercial knowledge and experience to help other small businesses thrive. Jay is a Chartered Accountant with an MBA in Finance. Jay enjoys educating her clients about what their numbers mean, helping them own their numbers and grow profits. If you are part of the networking community in Coventry, you may have met Jay at local Chamber of Commerce or Federation of Small Business events. 

Ellie Herdman – Accounts Assistant

Level 3 AAT qualified, Ellie comes from a practice background with 3 years of experience. Ellie is hoping to develop her career while with us, and currently is focusing on assisting clients with their bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns. 

Jagtinder Kaur – Senior Accountant

Jagtinder is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification. Jagtinder has a degree in Accountancy & Finance, along with a teaching qualification from India, and has been working in the industry since 2009.

You can find us at 4, Quinton Parade, Coventry, CV3 5HW. You can walk into our shop at any time or contact us in advance to secure an appointment time.

• Our shop has free parking outside.
• We are 15 minutes walking distance from Coventry rail station. 
• If you are travelling by car on the ring road, please take Junction 5 to reach us. 
• We are also about 25 minutes' walking distance from the city centre, with many bus stops along Quinton Road or Daventry Road.

We are experts in several accounting packages, such as QuickBooks, Xero and Dext so we can ensure you are ready and compliant for Making Tax Digital. 

We often find our clients are interested in making their accounting function much smoother and want an accountant to help them along the journey which we enjoy doing. Our growing team of accountants and tax experts are always available to help.
