How do I use the Government Gateway to claim the self-employed grant?
To claim the self-employed cash grant you will first need to register with the Government Gateway, to create a Personal Tax Account.
Registering normally takes around 10 minutes. You will be asked to confirm your identity to create your personal tax account and you will need the following information:
- your National Insurance number
- a recent payslip or P60 or a valid UK passport
