TaxAssist Accountants in Sidcup is a two partner firm with 8 members of staff. They complete payroll, bookkeeping, VAT, Accounts Preparation, tax planning and the completion of tax returns for clients in and around the Sidcup area.
The two partners are Geraldine O'Neill and Harold Smith and both have worked for the Inland Revenue in their previous careers.
Geraldine was a senior inspector of taxes for 20 years and her final position before leaving was as an Investigation Manager selecting company accounts for investigation. After leaving the Revenue she worked as a corporate tax manager.
After having worked for several firms of Chartered Accountants, Geraldine realised that service was not a driving factor. Harold was a NatWest bank manager before joining the Inland Revenue and is very accustomed to the needs of self employed clients.
Currently Geraldine and Harold have a portfolio of clients ranging from large engineering companies with a turnover of several million pounds to small marketing companies and individual sole traders.
