Busy practice in North London with 7 staff and over 350 clients is looking for a qualified and experienced accountant who would enjoy managing a portfolio of clients that includes smaller limited companies, partnerships and sole practitioners.
The Practice has been operating for 8 years and has established processes in place. The technical output includes bookkeeping, payroll, accounts preparation, VAT, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns.
You must be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). You must have relevant and recent small practice experience and be used to working on your own initiative.
Your tax knowledge must be up to date and you will need good IT skills (Advanced Excel skills essential). The Practice uses CCH integrated accounting software which covers all aspects of accounts preparation and tax computations. It would be useful if you have experience of using CCH software, but training will be provided.
You must have good people skills, excellent organisation skills and be able to work unsupervised to strict deadlines. You must have a good command of the English language (spoken and written), as the job involves writing technical emails to clients.
