The Budget 2009: How has this affected small businesses?

A number of beneficial changes affecting business include the improvement of the extension of  the loss relief rules, extending the original loss making period announced in the Pre budget report from one year to two years.

The Chancellor also announced the Business Payment Support Service is now being extended for those businesses which are genuinely unable to pay their outstanding liability immediately or enter into a reasonable time to pay arrangement......  read more
