Govt announces new Enterprise Zone

Date: 18th August 2011

Businesses to benefit from new Enterprise ZoneSmall business owners operating in various industries across the UK and individuals looking to start up a firm could be encouraged by a recent government announcement.

In bid to boost job creation in the area, the coalition has launched a new Enterprise Zone in east Kent.

According to the government, around 190 businesses in the area will benefit from additional support, while tax breaks and a range of other incentives could encourage more people to set up their own businesses.

David Willetts, the coalition's universities and science minister, commented: "The new Enterprise Zone will provide a significant economic boost to the south-east, creating jobs and helping many new businesses to start up and grow.

"This is great opportunity for new businesses locating in the area to take advantage of tax breaks and super-fast broadband. This scheme will provide security to thousands of households and unlock another major economic opportunity."

Over the past 10 years we believed that if we wanted outstanding service we should use traditional large accountancy firms. Oh how wrong we had been! We had been charged high fees without any real value being added to the business.
